Thulium Valued Member United States 295 Posts	Posted 02/17/2017 10:49 pm Sadly, it's due to " Mechanical Doubling", where the date gets sheared as it is ejected from the die. I once found one of these really strongly "doubled"--and my heart skipped a beat! Somebody will post a photo of the real 60-S DDO soon. Here's the real 69DD Notice how MD is sharp edged, DD is rounded and has extra size of letters.
