Hello everyone,

I been trying to read up on coins with missing chrom but to me they both look the same, wondering if someone can help me out with these 2 coins amd explain how to tell the differnece.one is a 1951 and the other is a 1953 here are the Observe and reverse.

No to both. Missing the chrome from circulation erosion... does not count... Use a 1949 or a 1956 5-cent as a comparison.

If it has a bluish tinge compared to the 49 or 56, then it is definitely chrome plated.
