I have a 1966 nickel where the portrait is tilted from the reverse. The pictures explain everything. What kind of error is this, is it rare, and how much is it worth?
Tolerances at the mint up to the late 1980s was somewhere between 12-15 degrees... anything more than that, carries a premium, with 180 degrees being the most sought after.
