Just joined this discussion.......

I would have guessed an ms63 Red from ICCS and that's what the high bidder thought as well.

Overall, everything worked out for the seller and bidder.

I sure do wish other sellers would list at $0.99 but I think they're too scared of the current market conditions.

Just a few ebay sellers left from the old days, listing their coins at $1 and seeing where the end price goes.

ebay has certainly changed since the beginning when a festered toenail started at 99 Cents would get you 20 bids.
These days ,especially with more knowledgeable buyers and sellers , the 99 Cent Auction is a very poor and iffy business model. BIN best offer is the best way for a seller to have the ability to control the price that their item is worth.
This Is especially true if you have an ebay store and are somewhat trying to make a living in the coin business.
Congrats to the seller , in the end this one worked out.
