*** Edited by Staff to clarify topic title. Titles are important! *** ok so I know I'm going to get alot of flack for this but I think I may have found a interesting 1969 dd0 with die clashing of two faces on the obv. so please can some one take a look at these pics and please advise on what to do, the coin has suffered a good beating but the clash is true and some strong DDO in the date and lettering please advise!!
Your coin looks very interesting . But in all do respect even if it was determined to be a 69-S DDO by some kind of marker, I'm sure because of it's condition it will be Worthless .
I can understand why you would ask, but there is no indication of doubled die. It's easy to see things that appear to be of interest because of the terrible condition.
It's called Pareidolia. That's when your mind see things that aren't there. This is all damage and it's not an error. The metal has been pushed over and flattened.
