I need a little help with identifying a character on a Chinese cash.

I can't find the character at the 12:00 position in the Calgary information.

I believe the 3:00 position is "YU", the 6:00 position is "YUAN", and of course the 9:00 is "PAO" or "BAO".

What is the best reference guide for identifying all of the Chinese cash coins?

Thank you.

This could be Viet Nam instead of China. I have several guides and could never rely on one as the best. Some may suggest Hartill.
However, after more searching, I did find similar coins in Hartill under Northern Song Dynasty. I only suggested Viet Nam earlier due to some quickly found similarities.
Northern Song Dynasty may have a stronger similarity.

I saw that coin earlier but thought the top character was not a match.

Thank you Albert and NPCoin. I think the top symbol is Ching as per the en.numista catalog.
Best Regards.

Yeah I guess it could be since it is a little smashed and the catalog drawings are not so clear.
Hartill 16.87 looks like a logical choice after comparing a few others I was unsure about.
