1936 Buffalo Nickel Is It Counterfeit?

LibertyEagle20 Pillar of the Community United States 1211 Posts	Posted 09/14/2018 7:21 pm I'm no Buffalo nickel expert but I would guess it's probably worth 50 cents to a dollar. Unfortunately when someone cleans a coin like this, it loses most of its value. Anytime you see a coin with some wear but still looks shiny, it's likely cleaned or polished. Hopefully you didn't pay too much for it and it's a cheap lesson learned. Report this Post to the Staff
