panzaldi Bedrock of the Community United States 18745 Posts	Posted 04/22/2019 08:30 am because of the blurry photos, rotation of the coin and lighting I cant grade this piece. if you found this coin, congratulations! it is a better date. if you can post better photos in the correct rotation everyone will be able to give you a good assessment. T-BOP Rest in Peace United States 18456 Posts	Posted 04/22/2019 09:10 am It is a better date , looks to be in EF-40/45 condition but the color is way off .Did you find it in the ground or sand ? It might wind up a details coin which would be a shame for an 1861 IHC in this sharp condition . Report this Post to the Staff

Henchman New Member Canada 13 Posts	Posted 04/22/2019 6:05 pm Thanks for the replies everyone. It was a dug coin, that I found metal detecting. I also dug a nice 1882 Canadian LC and a 1831 American LC that shows a little more ware from the same site. Pulled a 1909 Wheat cent as well, but no mint marks. The soil seems to have been very kind to the coins here, and I think the colour on the IHC is from the picture.. I'll try to post better ones. Report this Post to the Staff
