The coin looks fully struck without truncated devices, so there must be another explanation. ace_ftw Pillar of the Community Canada 1747 Posts	Posted 05/09/2019 10:25 am A dime Planchet is almost 50% the size of a penny, if this was actually struck on a dime, it would be extremely thin, there would be no upturned rims, and the design would be way mushier. There is only 2 things this could be; Most likely would be a science experiment where someone electroplated nickel onto the penny. Second it could be an off metal strike, but this would take more information and testing. Report this Post to the Staff
