Roosevelt Mint Mark Error? - Coin Community Forum

I hope you guys had a great Thanksgiving and for all you that collect silver managed to get good Black Friday sales on bullion! So as I mentioned before my grandfather left me a lot of coins and I'm slowly going though them with the microscope to see if I can find anything in the way of errors. Is this a mint mark error? To me it looks almost like a D/S type mistake? Or is it just the coin doing funky things? Thanks again for the input and again Happy Thanksgiving! However, it is worth checking on the varietyvista.com website (or another one of your choosing). I would do that for you, but you have omitted the year of this dime in the title of this thread. With that said, there is only a single OMM listed and it is a S/D (1947).
