I'm pretty sure this is a sintered planchet error. The coin has a distinct copper color. It doesn't look like toning. What do you think? How much do you think it's worth?

With the surface condition of the coin, I'm thinking this is environmental damage. Let's see what others think.

@Yokozuna The pictures I've taken are not of the best quality. The lighting isn't that good either. The outer rim looks to be all copper. I agree the coin has wear and tear. I'm no expert, but it doesn't look like damage. However, I'm new to this, and I haven't seen all the ways coins can become damaged.

Homeless coin for a while. Finally brought in out of the rain and now has a home. But the damage has been done. Spender now.
