I'll say MS-63.

Very hard to tell but I think it may have seen some life in the wild. I'm at AU-58

No way this is a Mint State coin. Luster is broken on the cheek and high points, the eagles breast and a big old finger print on the reverse. Lots of bag marks but the coin. A nice AU58.

Thanks for the grades. I marked this in my coins database as MS-61 so sounds like I'm in the ballpark.

I think a 62 isn't unreasonable except for that fingerprint.

AU58 or MS62. I'm leaning toward the MS side

It's impossible to tell from photos, but the luster looks flat. If so, it could have been over-dipped and then mishandled, explaining both the flat luster and heavy obverse and reverse fingerprints. (Dipping isn't cleaning, but over-dipping is cleaning.) You have the coin in hand, and can make a better assessment of the luster.

IMHO, it's either UNC details or MS-62.

Luster is strong on it.
