ANACS gave this one a 63 but I feel they undergraded it by a numerical grade or two. Thoughts?

Can you get a little more light on the left obverse field?

As far as I can tell clean except for a luster break or two.

I could see 64, but luster is a bit muted for anything higher.

Maybe on a good day it would hit 64 but most likely a 63.

It's a high end MS-63, but I just don't see this one getting a 64 in a regrade.

I sent a handful of morgans to ANACS recently and all of them came back under graded imo. not sure whats going on there but anyway the 02(S) are typically average in strike. this one falls into that category. surface preservation is decent but the photos are a little blurry to tell 100%. a good amount of luster remains on both sides. I wish we could the see cheek better as that would help. overall eye appeal might be a little more than average. if that's just rub on the cheek you got robbed on the grade. MS64+ imo

I adjusted your photos a bit by reducing light and enhancing and then eliminating color. I see some surface rubbing between the truncation of the neck and the chin. There is also a knock above the eagle's head. That doesn't look too deep, but it affects eye appeal.
IMHO, MS-63 is a fair grade for this coin. It's a nice one, though, for sure.
