Tellercollection New Member United States 3 Posts	Posted 10/07/2020 6:28 pm Today I was at a different branch and went through all of the foreign coin. I found 6 silver Canadian quarters, a 1952 nickel missing chrome, 1945 50 para coin, a 1932 deautches reich 1 coin, and a 1942 Italia 10 c. coin. Then a lady came in to drop off some of her husband's old coins and we found 3 Eisenhower dollars and a walking liberty 1942 half dollar. The ladies I worked with were generous enough to let me buy the half dollar and we split the Eisenhower dollars. Sorry for the bad lighting. Report this Post to the Staff

Ty2020b Pillar of the Community United States 4680 Posts	Posted 10/07/2020 7:29 pm Nice finds! But that 52 looks chrome to me. Could be the lighting but it looks like chrome next to the Ike. Chrome will have a bluish hue, while nickel will have a yellow hue. Report this Post to the Staff
Tellercollection New Member United States 3 Posts	Posted 10/07/2020 10:51 pm The only reason I grabbed the canadian nickel was because it had a blue hint to it. So I guess it is chrome. Is it rare? Ty2020b Pillar of the Community United States 4680 Posts	Posted 10/08/2020 08:42 am In that condition ( from what I can see), the 52 is common. There are a number of varieties and die errors you can check for, but the "missing chrome" variety holds the most value.
