My fieldwork this year is in August, so I'll be around. Not hugely interested in RCNA stuff or the bourse, I just want to enjoy some beers with old friends. Beers with friends sound good after three years. When I first started going to the RCNA shows around 2006, I found I learned as much in the bar as I did at the show. The show-and-tells are sometimes astounding. I'll be there, likely checking out the bourse on Friday July 22, and maybe returning on Sunday of my youngest is interested in tagging along.

I won't make this one either. I might be up in Ontario in the fall, but that is nowhere near certain.
