Victorian One Shilling Condition/Value (1883 And 1896)

These are probably the best condition examples I have of Victorian shillings, young head and old head. What grading would you give them and approx value? PaddyB Pillar of the Community United Kingdom 945 Posts	Posted 02/21/2024 2:02 pm I would suggest the 1883 might get a "very good" grade, short of Fine. Too much wear on the head. The 1896 might make "about Fine". A lot of unsightly scratches hold it back. I tend not to get too committed on grades - I prefer to work on "acceptable" or "not acceptable"!
