I've had this for over 40 years and never really looked at it under the scope (probably because I didn't have one. Well after going through my old British coins I collected while living in Hays Castle Cross, Wales - I put this one under my scope and saw a very nice overdate.
what are your thought on it for rarity and grade?

Yes, nice clear coin with a straightforward overstrike - 7 over 6.
Spink list this variety in their year book. Prices would indicate that it is about as common as the normal one as there is no differential between the types.
Re-use of dies was very common right up to the 20th century.
