Dearborn Moderator United States 99460 Posts	Posted 10/04/2024 7:01 pm There is an arc roughly the same as a cent on the obverse and under that arc, it would seem has the worst damage. I'm thinking it was buried for a while with another cent and the dirt (or what ever) that was trapped corroded the cent more than other areas. But I'm thinking that the soil (or what ever) was highly acidic. Collecting since 1972. Learning from then on "Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember.
