I just bought it about 6 weeks ago and yes - it still has a lot of red.

very nice upgrade! I have the exact smae xf45...I'm looking at taking an upgrade myself...always room for upgrades.

Hello all, my 1914-D just arrived!

The bad news: It was a bit diappointed. The pictures do a good job of hiding wear. I was fully expecting an AU looking coin, but it is without a doubt a true XF45. I also recently received my 09-S, a spectacular AU58 that exceeded my expectations. That, along with the pictures of this probably gave me unrealistic hopes.

The Good News: It IS a solid XF45 and the surfaces are clean and smooth. The coin is fairly and accurately graded so I suppose I shouldn't complain. :)

I'll take pictures later on. I'm off to the post office then lunch.

Sorry to hear about the disappointment! I'm glad you were able to see the silver lining though in that it is a solid XF for you. I'd love to see a picture when time allows and of the 09-S too. :-)
