This morning I put all of my subscriptions on 'pause', except for the RP Innovation dollars (x2) and the Uncirculated Sets (x10). The Mint Sets are set to release at the end of next month, and that didn't leave budget for anything else.
I will be attempting to flip some of the Mint Sets, hopefully enough to pay for the two I plan to keep. We'll see how that goes.
EDIT: I reconsidered and have returned one subscription for the Proof Set to active duty.

I absolutely do too, jbuck. 2026 will almost certainly be the last entry into my US Mint Sets collection. Or, I should say final. I've still gotta get three of the earlier ones. Looks like that's a collection that I will complete soon. :-)
Individual coins I want will come from individual coin purchases, no cannibalizing 2026 Mint Sets for me.

I just paid $60 pre-sale for a set that will have the Zincolns removed. I'm not a fan of them and the set minus the Two Cents to me is an actual true representation of circulation coinage for 2026. I'll have zero interest in 2027 coinage other than maybe a PCGS proof clad half dollar, depending on design. Edited by DoubleEagle20

So they are calculating the Cents' value at MORE than $32.25 each! Does anyone think that is realistic? EDIT 12.5 hours later: Looking at 2026 Cents on ebay, I found a LOT of pre-release GRADED coins offered, and at super high prices...  But, there have been sales of ungraded coins, at what seems like astronomical prices. The second one below is for a single Cent. Tomorrow (6/30) is release day. How are sellers charging for pre-release "graded" Cents?
Anyway, I'm subscribed to extra Sets, fully intending from the start to flip some of them. With the weird draw to the Cents I'm wondering what the full Sets are going to go for. I have no intention to break any of the Sets up, not even the ones I sell.
It looks like it may be the case of people buying the Sets just to obtain the Cents, and the other coins of little interest. I may wait a week or two, observing sales, before I offer any up. Or maybe put one up for auction, rather than buy it now.
In any case, it looks like the extra sets I've got coming are a no-lose issue, though probably not a windfall. If I can net $31 per set, my two will be paid for.

I get two sets every year, one stays intact in the cardboard box, the other gets broken out and put in the albums.
I saw one of the TV coin show guys selling a PF70 complete silver proof set for $1000. That's not the amazing part, he said a PF70 cent could go for $300! Are these people insane? They also come in the special "First day of issue" labels. Who cares about that?

I get one set. I usually crack them for my Dansco albums. This year I am leaving it intact, as I am doing for both proof sets (clad and silver). I am contemplating some way to store all three OGP together as a super-set. |

I am only getting one of the uncirculated set and it will stay intact along with my 2023, 2024, and 2025 uncirculated sets. The clad proof set is something I am considering. If the prices were not increased for 2026, getting the proof set would be a no-brainer. I wonder how much I will get whacked on UK customs duty on the uncirculated set at the new price.
