It should, as usual, be pointed out once again that the circulating examples of these coins are indeed a 50:50 chance, whether the coin lands heads or tails in the edge-inscribing machine. But for proof coins, the edge lettering is part of the collar die, not a separate process, so proof versions of these coins should all be "the same way up".
