The seller is an authorized reseller for the mint and gets their stock early - they buy in Bulk and then gets them graded in bulk with the major TPGs and are then able to sell them off in time for the regular release.

Huh interesting. I always thought the authorized resellers only got the regular bullion ASE's (non-special finishes or mint marks) early. Guess I've never really paid attention or never noticed someone post an actual pic so early. Good to know!

The dealers approved by the US Mint who buy bulk ASE and AGE bullion can also buy numismatic products, a percentage of total mintage or limit set by the Mint. They pay a 5% premium above list price and get them before public release day. I don't like it but whatever. The below article is from 2021, I don't know if this has changed:

Been checking the mint site since 7:30am EDT, didn't go on sale again. Does the mint sometimes do that, where the rejects don't immediately go on sale the next morning?

Nobody but the mint knows and announces when/if released coins will be available again. Use the mint remind me feature by text or email. When something comes back in stock they notifiy you. If a coin is popular it may only be available briefly. I've tried both text and email remind me. Text is faster. In one prior instance I didn't read the email until it was too late.

The mint usually does not make all the coins up to mintage limit for release day. If a coin is not popular the mint would be stuck with many coins nobody wants. The mint makes a certain number for release day, if they sell out what's in stock and the mint thinks there's enough demand they will make more and release them later. Some coins are put on back order with a future expected release date.

Some have said returned coins are put back in stock. Others have said returned coins get melted. My opinion is they inspect returned coins and if they are okay they restock them, bad ones are melted.
