But for real collectors, there's a much larger (and cheaper) world out there. Thats exactly why I'm going to Littleton. I'm new to collecting and am afraid of getting ripped off on ebay. Your best bet is coin shows, reputable ebay Sellers and local coin shops. Continue to do your homework and you'll do fine. Chalk up the buying mistakes to the price of tuition for your degree at the "School of Numismatics". I've been attending that school for almost 70 years and still haven't graduated!
