Hello fellow classic coin collectors! I recently found this 1917 mintmarked Buffalo nickel in a dealer's junk bin for $1. Upon seeing that the coin was a 1917 with a mintmark, I decided make the purchase and attempt to decipher the mintmark later. Unfortunately, to this point I have been unable to determine whether the blob below "FIVE CENTS" on this coin is a D or an S, so I was hoping that somebody here might be able to aid me in identifying the mintmark. The relevant area of the coin is pictured below.
