Is raising interest rates even possible now? Too much private debt. Talk is cheap but raising rates would be the most expensive thing the Federal Reserve ever did. So it talks. Silver is industrial. Gold is the currency of last resort when international trust disappears. The two metals can go different ways.

I got $64.76 at time of writing, Up $1.25 or 2% from Friday. Another 1% is within the expected daily range we've been seeing on average. Remember - The price target for Silver is that $65 retest, watch the price action closely there. Use that to determine your trades if you have any left to make. Barry if you got any more junk silver to trade for keys, now's the time to start planning it. Remember also - Gold is the leader in this. It's the key. Gold target is $4400. Gold is currently at $4358.40 for the /GCU26 September futures contracts.

Quote: Getting a nice little bump so far this morning! And on a Monday where all the major indexes are in the Red no less. Just shows there is some strength and validity to this move. Had this been a Green open on the indexes Silver would have blown past $65 before 9 am today.

$65.51 the High so far today, I expected Silver to be in the thick of it at this price level. Considering that this was a pretty good prior support level. But there's not much resistance so far. Bears would normally be defending this level with some noticeable selling pressure. They probably retreated back up to $66+ or closer to the $69 - $70 support level out of fear of what could be coming. This week on Tuesday and Wednesday we'll see the release of 2 more key economic data points... You know, the kind of economic data that lead to this breakout. That data is probably where the rubber meets the road, the real test so to speak. Expect Bear's to be waiting in the wings just in case the News isn't good for stocks and PM's.

$66.01 High of the day so far, Up $2.50 or 3.87% from Friday, that's just above the daily average, it was a strong push today. I'd be shocked if it kept going. Maybe time for some end of day profit taking and some well deserved rest, and see what tomorrow brings.
