It looks like a very small chip connecting T and Y so maybe a "TIY" break as well. There are a couple nice unique markers obv/rev on this coin (besides scratches) I noted for JC. I find it a bit ironic that though the small date was phased out due to chipping issues, the date on this example is one of the few places on both dies that does don't have a chip.
