With over 4 Billion minted I'm sure there were a lot of polished dies being used! But pretty neat to see the difference

I really wish to thank you all for your replies. Note* I have been away for quite a while, and remembered that this site stressed the point that picture size must be below 300, and followed that . Now I see that much larger size is fine. I will re-post with a better picture. For those of you who realized that my double picture was meant to show the huge difference in faces, you will see that the over zealous polishing changed Lincoln and made him unrecognizable. The lips are pushed back, his neck is too thin, and the trimming of his beard makes his chin too long. All his hair was cut from top center to the bottom of his neck at the back, etc. A new man. Perhaps a new coin.
