Well, I just got back from the VA Hospital (was there on a different matter (appointment) So on my way out I made a detour into the Urology Dept and talked to one of the attending doctors there that worked on me.

They say that the Cancer shows up in 2 tiny spots and pre-cancer in 3 locations. They call it a very low-grade non- aggressive type.
They have 3 options:
1: Active surveillance
2: Radiation
and
3: Surgery

I opted for option 1 for now, which is monitoring my PSA every 6 months, MRI scans and Biopsy once a year if necessary.

So we'll see where this goes from here. so as my Grand Mother would say (in her deep Italian {Sicilian} Accent) "Whatta ya gonna do?"

My PSA was only .8 which is good, we'll be keeping an eye on that number.
They took my vitals today and they were just great - like a 20 something year old
BP - 120/80
Pulse at 59
respiration was at 16
O2 at 98%
temp at 98.5
