Hello everyone from washington state! I have a question regarding? a coin I have. Its a 2002 P Roosevelt dime that the face is half covered in copper and there is a crack across his face. Is this a true error
Interesting. First, a photo of the reverse might help us better understand what's goin on. The appearance of the obverse suggests that some form of dried 'gunk' may be present (may be...). Suggest soaking the coin in 100% acetone to see if anything is removed. If you do soak, let us know the outcome. Thanks.
