i have never seen machine doubbling this consistent but that is what it looks like to me .i checked all thee sites and found no match. what does the forum think. thanks for your time and comments.

Overkill with photos but all I see is minor Machine Doubling.

There are four different cents. This is to show how the MD appears to be the same on all four of them.

Thanks j buck for moving the thread and the explanation. I find it highly odd that these 4 coins show the same thing throughout the reverse. But will admit it does look less ke Machine Doubling.

I would suppose that MD can show up on multiple coin in succession - after all it is how the die wore out that creates the MD (and DDD too)

Very similar but not exact matches like a DD would have to be.

Thanks to everyone for taking the time to look and comment. You told me what I figured you would.I do struggle with the idea that every coin should look exactly the same due to die wear and the actual length of time a die strikes a coin . But that is just somewhat of an unknown and where those coins fall within that period.
