MetDet71 Pillar of the Community United Kingdom 1598 Posts	Posted Yesterday 03:38 am Friday last week I purchased 9 coins from another detectorist who was lucky enough to find them while he was out searching in Dorset. They arrived Yesterday. He posted pictures of the hoard in a group on facebook saying he was thinking of selling the coins. I thought it would be rude not to make an offer The coins are from the Durotriges Tribe, PAS DOR-2D6235 is the recorded Number for the hoard. Durotriges were more a tribal confederation than a Tribe. They were one of the groups that issued coinage before the Roman conquest. I thought I would just share one of them with you all as not much Celtic stuff gets posted.
