I don't envy doing that many photos at once Dearborn and trying to keep them all situated.
I have a system that works for me.
I only do 5 dates (5 coins each of the P/D) at a time and get both sides - then to the Dansco album, then I work the images (crop rotate if needed and resize) a day
My labeling scheme is quite simple, such as:
2006-P JN CuNi BU (obverse side)
2006-P JN CuNi BU1 (reverse side)
I always use a 1 at the end of the file so I know it is the reverse, if there are errors and I take additional images, the last number grows (2, 3, 4, ect) This keeps all the files together in the directory tree
the 'JN' =
Jefferson nickelIf it were a
Buffalo nickel the letters would be 'BN'
a modern dime would be "RD" (
Roosevelt dime)
So at a glance I know that the image is without opening it or having the thumb nails open.
