Hello,
I was recently looking through my Kennedy half dollar collection and noticed this. I believe that this is a lamination error across the In G-d We Trust, extending down to the 1 in 1969. Am I correct? Any thoughts on the potential value of such an error?
Edit: I have uploaded more images, including the Obverse and reverse of the coin, and a close up of the eagle's face and the weird striations between the Ls in Dollar.

*Edit by staff - I have once again removed your duplicate images and the images not showing the lamination. Please start a new thread if you wish to discuss other aspects of this coin*

This looks like it could indeed be a lamination. Nice find.

Please post in-focus images of both sides of the entire coin.

I've removed the duplicate images and the detail images that don't show the area in question.

Yes, appeasers to be a lamination issue. Agree with the desire to see full, large and sharp pics of the obverse and reverse.

I agree on a nice lamination, a full coin image of both sides is customary when providing images for review.

Nice coin but the darkness along the bottom edge of the anomaly near the field looks raised.

Some aspects of this coin resemble a Grease Filled Die.
