I am curious if the K11-12 obverse, K6-7 reverse weakness is caused by a tapered planchet, or if this is just die wear.

Also curious if that chewed up area on the K2-3 reverse rim is some kind of coin damage, die damage, or possibly a rim Cud starting.

What's the weight of your coin? The reverse looks like it's showing Rim Cuds.

I believe this to be a minor tapered planchet, I do see these more from the 40's era of Mercury dimes, as you said the general weakness in the areas mentioned.
It also could be the beginning of Rim Cuds.
