I just recived the dansco 7070 and I have a 1827 capped bust dime is there a particular reason the dansco calls for the 28-37 and not the 27.

Thanks
Z

they don't include all different changes on the coins. the variety 2 dimes are easier to find and cheaper as well except for certain dates. I have never seen any explanation on why they chose one type over another but I have noticed they did leave out some of the higher priced types out when they could

I don't know why Dansco didn't include the larger diameter (Type 1) bust dime or quarter. I wish that they had. They are not that difficult to obtain.

Your 1827 is a slightly larger diameter than the Type II. I have an 1821 Capped Bust Dime and it won't fit in the slot for the 1828-37 dime.

its your album and you can do as you wish with it. When it came to getting a coin that I was going to be putting in the album I just got the correct date range for the album but there are people on here that have modified their pages to include coins they wanted in their album but I just stuck to what Dansco had included for mine

It probably won't fit without modifying the hole. Yours is 18.8mm and the 1828-37 were 18.5mm.
