Could anyone tell me if this is an example of a Close AM coin? I'm just getting into this and not sure on this one. Thanks in advance for the input.

Well, no...that's a Wide AM reverse. Dunno what year it's on, but I would guess 1989-1992.

Yes, just find a 1993 and you have an example of Close AM

Take a look at this like this will show a close up comparison of the wide and Close AM. along with a list of known variants

That is a Wide AM. The easiest way to tell is to compare it alongside a Close AM and a Wide AM. When the three coins are viewed together, it is really easy to see.
