Again, if you don't want to go through the trouble of ebay, etc., you can make a contest here on the forum. Here is that forum link:

I'm sure one of the moderators would be willing to help you set it up, if need be.

Or, again, donate to your local Boy Scout / Girl Scout group to earn merit badges.

Either way, you will have the satisfaction of helping others & be assured that your coins found a much appreciated new home, whose new "parents" will take good care of them.

Or, one last thought, you could pass them down to your grandson/granddaughter, nephew, niece, etc. as family mementos / souvenirs.

I think any of those suggestions would give your uncle pleasure.

I agree with all of the suggestions thus far (not because I gave a couple of them either LOL) BUT should you decide to go the ebay route, let the folks know here. I know I saw a few I might bid on if they were in the lot. I think that is OK by forum rules and if it is not I'm sure someone will catch it and correct me.
And if what I just said violates any rules, my apologies. I didn't see anything specific
