Moe145 Pillar of the Community United States 8904 Posts	Posted 03/30/2011 08:54 am From my limited expertise: From what I can tell from these pictures, this obverse type of Large Cent started in 1835 (Head of 1836) and continues to 1839 (Head of 1838/Silly Head/Mature Head). (Look at the bottom curl of hair displaced below the bust on the obverse). Before was the Matron Head (not your coin) and after was the Petite Head (again, not your coin).
