Where are these coins being disposed of (melted or whatever they do with them)?

I've never once seen a Mintstate Victorian or Edwardian half dollar, ever! There are only 88 halves known to I.C.C.S. in Vicky Mintstate and 173 Edy's known in mintstate.
I've seen tons of scans/photos on 'em in various auctions and articles, however, to see one in real life would be a dream cum true!

From time to time there are top notch collections sold through Heritage or Torex. I make a point of attending those auctions, and try to look at every coin. Then I make notes in the catalog about what I thought of them...do I agree with the grade, does it have eye appeal, etc. It's alot of fun, and makes it possible to handle coins that I would otherwise never be able to see.
