Here are a few of them. Can anyone tell me what this gold coin is worth. I am not going to sell it or any or them b/c they remind me of him but was just curious. Spider5689 Pillar of the Community United States 2269 Posts	Posted 04/05/2008 10:07 pm It looks like you have a Constitution Commemorative Gold Coin. These were produced in 1987 by the US mint to commemorate the Bicentennial of the US constitution. This coin has a very high mintage for a gold commemorative. Unfortunately it is worth close to the spot price of gold. Probably around $225.00. You also have the companion Constitution Silver dollar. These two are probably part of a set. OneMoreRoll Valued Member United States 228 Posts	Posted 04/05/2008 10:33 pm Thank you guys. My grandfather was Russian/Ukrainian and we have a great load of coins from those two countries. Also, 225 is a lot of money for something the size of a nickel. These coins came in pairs, you were right. I just had to take them out of the boxes to scan. KurtS, if that coin, the Bulgarian one, has such a low mintage, why is it worth so little? Just wondering. To me its not the value that counts but the endless memories that these coins bring back. I started collecting about 6 years ago, then stopped b/c kids would make fun of me(kinda) and then started again. I'm only 17 right know. Report this Post to the Staff
