Hi Metalman,

I have the same coin in a PCI slab and it is a PR 70 DCAM, and is a beautiful commemorative coin. Your coin is comparable to my coin, so if the price was right you got a great coin. They produced a lot of these. However, the coin is great looking and is a bicentennial coin, of what I think, is our greatest historical document.

Great photos also Metalman!

RedBook has PF67 at $14. However, regardless of the pricing, I really like this commemorative. Nice buy.

I like it. I bought one a few years ago in a Postal Commemorative Society folder type thing. It has a couple of stamps, an envelope and some info about the U.S. Constitution. It is the only altered coin I own, it is 24K electroplated.

I bought the coin because Iam a great admirer of the constitution !

I paid just over 9.00 for the coin .

I have a couple of others that I purchased lately also , but I'm not entirely happy with the photo's when I get what I'm after with the pics I will post them also.

Thanks

Nice commemorative. The $5 gold constitution commemorative makes a great companion to the one you own. You can still get that one for around the spot price of gold.

Thanks for your post, (I am very much a rookie coin collector)my husband picked up one of these somewhere, and its been lurking in our collection, but I never really knew what it was. I like it, its nice looking, and feels heavy. Hope someday my daughter enjoys it as much. (Or can sell it if she's really down on her luck!)

My uncirculated PCGS69 should be coming from Teletrade in a day or two. I paid 27.00 so I definately think you got a bargain. I like the uncirculated also over the proofs but that could be because of the bad luck I have had with proof silver eagles.
