1960 Ten Cents - Condition Suggestions?

carleroo Valued Member Canada 155 Posts	Posted 03/04/2012 8:45 pm I found a roll of dimes from 1960-1964 that I completely forgot about (for almost 50 years - yes, I'm an oldie!). They are all in similar condition to the one I am showing here. I am showing the observe with what looks like a mark across Her Majesty. This is the only one that has such a marking. Most of the rest are better, but I thought I would show this one to get an initial idea of condition. Ideas, anyone? Report this Post to the Staff

Peter4805 Pillar of the Community Canada 987 Posts	Posted 03/10/2012 08:05 am If it wasn't for the damage your coin would be a keeper, but since it's a common date and silver is at $34 an ounce I'd melt it. If the rest aren't damaged like the one above I think they would be low MS grade and will have a numismatic value above melt. Report this Post to the Staff
