hi there
I'm not a collector of coins but I have a couple of coins I've been carting around since I was, apparently, 10 weeks old. they were gifts from someone at my birth.
neither is in great shape but I thought i'd see if anyone knows anything about them.

1 seems to have the date 1867 on it. if there is another date I can't read it. Nova Scotia Mayflower coin. has french as well
Nouvelle Ecosse and Fleur de Mai.

1 seems to be an 1870 half penny. seems to have queen victoria on it.

just curious if anyone is familiar with these. drop me a line if you have any info.
thanks
Matt

I have no idea about your coins, but someone will come along with some information soon --

I think they're going to want photos. It will help in determining the value of the coins.

Good luck.

The first you mention sounds like a medal issued in 1967 by Shell and given out at their gas stations. They are low quality and very plentiful. It's not difficult to pick one up for a dollar. There was a set with the flowers of each province and the maple leaf for Canada.
Rest in Peace

I'll bite, why would a French and British coins get better attention in the Canadian section?
