Ok it is Tuesday and you all know what that means, my wife annoys me by watching 3 hours of the big bang theory. Oh wait ... it is time to see who is still in the running for the silver eagle and who is just reaching for a few silver dimes. So in no paticular order here are week 7 scores.
Docsfishn - 125.4 googoo - 76.74 ChrisBeatie - 127.5 Blueszone - 73.32 TripAces - 92.8 Wrestling135 - 76.72 Specksynder - 113.92 Coinsearcher83 - 99.94 Nod2003 - 77.04 Murrellington - 140.1 Stevex6 - 66.16 Jdavis18 - 50.32
Well lets start with the good news. Murrellington won the weekly prize in week 7 with a ridiculous score of 140.1. He had two players score over 40 points and got double digit contributions from 2 other players and averaged a whooping 23.35 points per player this week. If I knew how to post a gold star on the sight you would totally get one. In other good news you also broke your tie from week 1 with Specksynder, so you have taken home both weekly prizes so far. You should get a double gold star... but like I said above, I am incompetant. The bad news is Jdavis18 goes out this week this a score of 50.32. Jdavis I please ask that in the future you don't pick any players I have in fantasy football, we both had high, high hopes for Mr. Stafford going into the week and he performed like any Lion QB would have in the last 50 years. I am giving some decent prizes away for this contest and Mrs. Rkrj doesn't mind that, but she does mind when I throw the remote at the 2000 dollar TV (narrowly missing it and putting a hole in the drywall) because Mr. Stafford couldn't hit water if he fell out of a boat. He caused me to lose my fantasy game by a mere 9 points, and since I can't blame Stafford (because I need him this week), and I will not blame myself for drafting him, you must be the fall guy Jdavis18. I hope you win a weekly prize this year to make up for the burden I have placed on you. The gutsy pick of the week goes to Wrestling135. Your pick of Darren Sproles inspired me, you went out on the deadest of tree limbs and managed to not fall and split your wig. Sproles earned you a cool 22.7 points and helped move you on to the next week. You can't see or hear it right now but I am giving you a golf clap right now.
After two weeks here are the point totals, remember to keep setting your lineups you can still win the total points award and the weekly prizes. One week can make your dreams come true!
Murrellington - 233.3 ChrisBeatie - 214.5 Specksynder - 207.12 docsfishn - 190.68 coinsearcher83 - 185.76 TripAces - 162.66 googoo - 158.46 Stevex6 - 147.78 Blueszone - 143.12 Wrestling135 - 139.12 Nod2003 - 138.64 Jdavis18 130.88
Remember if you have any question or disputes with your scores, you want a breakdown of your scores, want to know if you have already used a player feel free to email me. I will get you your info within a day or two. Good luck in week 8, don't forgot the injuries, and bye weeks.

Hey Boss, ummm? ... I've kinda lost my bearings regarding this competition ... isn't the ultimate goal to be the "last man standing", regardless of points? (just avoid being the worst contestant every weekend?)
sorry, my bad => I went back and re-read the rules and discovered that there is a secondary prize for the most points (okay, got it)

That is the grand prize so just don't be last of the people that are left every week, there is also a runner up prize which is most total points (the same person can't win the grand prize and the runner up prize), and a weekly prize for the best score each week. I just wanted to keep everyone involved. I was in a league like this a couple years ago, I got knocked out in week 5 the first year, and there was nothing else to play for so it kinda sucked (especially since I finished 3rd in points and had a very good team just one unlucky week).

You are funny rkrj, I enjoy reading your posts. And I owe everything to wrestling, I said I wouldn't play but he talked me into it. Good thing!

And Murrelington, I'm glad you played, even though you are beating me, I'm glad you decided to play because of my nudge (I accept small bills or large coins) :)

murrellington -- I'd be glad to set your lineup for you. And don't worry, it wouldn't be the same as mine like it was week 1.
