Nothing special, but picked up 8 silver Washington hole fillers today for $40, all mid 1940's.

Just bought a roll of 2011 D Chickasaw quarters from the bank at face. Forgot to add: Just purchased a 1866 Shield nickel yesterday. Been working on that set lately. So far have 1866, 1867 no rays, 1868, 1869, 1872, 1882 and 1883.

My most recent: 1795 Flowing Hair Half Dime. I almost have the whole type set of Half Dimes, then I will share the whole set :) Amazing how small and thin these coins are!

Quote:1921 USA Peace dollar from my local bullion source that has all the characteristics I have been looking for: PMD-free; high grade circulated coin with nice toning. It was 100 bucks, but I have watched many more in worse condition sell on the 'bay for considerably more. Opinions as to grade/value always appreciated. Considering that year was struck in VG, that's a nice xf, well worth the price.

I may have overpaid slightly for it Brian but, I did like the remaining detail and full date despite the damage. They are fairly tough coins.
