If Bombay follows the trend of its 45k bullion brothers it (the P) has around 800 or less to go
No clue on the other 2015's
I thought Saratoga was supposed to be the runt of the litter....guess not

Can someone explain to me why this P puck would sell out ( or be close to a sellout ) so fast compared to others in the past? The price of silver didn't go up. The price of a P puck did not go down. I think the majority of people I have heard comments from on this design aren't exactly thrilled with it. There are some people who like it, but it didn't deserve a big jump due to design. There is no discount for subscriptions. There is free shipping which is a very minimal savings compared to the previous P pucks this year. I don't get it. Maybe the secret is out and the people who have begun to hoard bullion pucks have moved over to the other side and are now purchasing P pucks to collect? If this is a sign of things to come this series just got a lot more interesting.

I think, folks, the subscriptions are getting attractive again, particularly if the 2016 pucks are going to have the sub 20K mintages. It was very easy to have missed out on Saratoga, and cutting it close on missing my pair as I didn't order on the 3rd. Too close for comfort, honestly. The Mint's thinking must have been was that let's throw all the bullion at it, since no bullion buyer cares about the design anyway, we'll have a hard time selling even close to 20K unc because of the mostly negative comments of the design. We all forgot it was THE New York coin, obviously New Yorkers must have helped sales. Yes, first time that both kinds sold out before delivery. Series is picking up apace, so the allocations for 2016 should be a hot topic of interest and speculation! @Teach, Foxwds, angel, Barryg, Bruce, CelticK and others: Glad you have been here faithfully since the bad old days, now the series starting to hit its stride with a huge payoff at the end. Good to know there are others from day 1 sharing the ride.

By my count I got in at day 1,725 (approximately) Even though I only got 2 P's I'm glad I gambled on a couple more rolls of the bullion for $92 per a few days ago from SD Bullion I think. When I saw the price I jumped; hope they get a boost due to all this

More collectors over time Popular state I was here december 22 2010 for the xmas suprise sale hype all five 2010 ATB 5oz bullion coins it was a very exciting time but do to x-mas there were not very many ccf members on here at that time we all new that they would be released by end of year but it was only a two hour sale or so from APMEX nobody knew it was fun especially when only one ap at a time would have a one or two hour sales window we were all trying to find out who & when the good old days page 7 .

@Bizy - misery loves company, right? I'm happy to have all the pucks issued so far, even if my wallet is not. What's the payout? I wasn't planning on selling... @HOLLYWOOD - looks like you meant to use the quote tags instead of URL tags in your post above?

So, I just missed the boat on Saratoga. I was gonna place my order yesterday but then busy and fell asleep on my chair.... and I woke up to see it's unavailable. I did get an extra Kisachie instead though. Should I grab another Bombay Hook too? I still need to catch the Saratoga P to complete this year though..... :(
Btw, I just got my NGC MS69 DPL (bullion) for Homestead and Blueridge Parkway from JM. They are on sale at $128/ea shipped.

@ Bizybackson: I am glad that I follow this thread closely. It's one of those thread that I constantly check whenever I log onto CCF. Comparing to some of you, I didn't get all of the coins (about half are empty holes), especially the 2012 'golden year' for ATB. It's a good thing that NOW this ATB series picked up interest as it's winding down. The challenge now for my limited budget (since I also have other interesting series to keep up, such as the Mexican Libertad): a) to double down on the future issue OR b) back-fill those empty holes?

Quote: Can someone explain to me why this P puck would sell out ( or be close to a sellout ) so fast compared to others in the past? Not unexpected at all. It followed its predecessor (BRP) and sold out as it approached 17.5k. I would venture a guess and say Bombay will do the same ...and as far as the series "winding down" it will end in 2021 so five years issued and six more years to go...56 in total

We are actually past halfway now - the series started in 2010 with now 30 of the 56 coins issued. The homestretch...!

I didn't know the BRP P puck sold out within a few days. I guess I missed that? Well I guess I am lucky to have that one and the Saratoga. It just seemed like the Saratoga sold out a lot quicker than any other P puck in some time. I guess I was wrong. Most people are saying it is due the military design and that it is the NY puck.
