And that's all she wrote on the 2015 P pucks.
Homestead = 0. Shawnee = 0.
Only remains to be seen when Shawnee returns on sale.

Wouldn't it be interesting IF Shawnee did NOT come back on sale.... ...and...does anyone have info on how many bullion Shawnee have been sold? The last report I see is 18 days old

"Interesting" is one word for it... My fear is (obviously) having to grab from the secondary market for a large premium. Especially if this is such a quick sellout. Could be a very large premium. Bleah!

I suspect they've run out of Shawnee bullion, and the reason the P hasn't reappeared on the back order list is that they're in the middle of stamping out the Cumberland bullion. They'll probably be back in stock around the time the Cumberland P's are ready for sale.

@ Bizy - so do you think they are done with the bullion Shawnee now, stopping at 105 K and just moving on to the Cumberland?
So does anyone have any opinions on the Cumberland design? I'm thinking they could have focused a little more on the Gap and less on the mountain man.

The Shawnee does have an "email me" when it comes back in stock message so that leads me to think they will be minting more.

@teach: yeah I think Shawnee is done. The Mint pretty much doesn't "do" presales to their AP customers. If some AP wants the remaining 15K of Shawnee they can ordered and paid for at time of delivery, i.e. After they are minted and billed which could be a different cost at the time ordering based on spot. At least that is what I am told from a friend who works at an AP. The Mint primarily estimates what the sales will be for any given month and anticipates accordingly by minting what they think will sell in future 6-8 week blocks. Two months from now we should be knee deep in Cumberland bullion and P sales starting. As for the design, it is a computer aided composition has a generic line art feel to it and doesn't seem to have the hand of an original artist like the distinctive work of the Frasers. Joseph Menna designed the Cumberland reverse, and there's You Tube video of him discussing the design: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dNvT3VXnwbQ

You can order the P Shawnee now as it has gone from currently unavailable to backorder status (oops...I guess I type slower ) ...and re: bullion Shawnee. The only thing that makes me question the 105k and zero sold after that is that the totals have not been updated Last Updated: February 25, 2016 ...unless they stop updating when there is no production
