You got lucky with the C-Gap puck, mine arrived with fingerprints all over the reverse. Perhaps he was mad I only bought his loss-leader without adding some of the 1oz rounds. It was so imprinted with finger oils I had wondered why he even bothered putting it into a wrong sized Air-Tite. On the other hand I have only had courteous service from JMB, so go figure.

I also purchased the Cumberland Gap from BPM and it arrived in an air tite holder with no issues. I just pre-ordered the Harper's Ferry on Saturday for $100.90 from BPM.

I like the Harpers Ferry and have visited the park. I will get this coin for myself and maybe this year's Christmas gifts for kids. I was thinking of the Teddy Roosevelt because I like that coin a little better but I'm concerned about silver going up prior to the release and thus these coins costing more. Any thoughts from the experts?

It's possible that the pucks will rise in price. Looking back at the issue prices and corresponding silver spot, I believe the trigger is somewhere around $20/oz, which we're pretty close to, obviously. But unless silver really jumps, the issue price probably won't rise more than $5 by the time Teddy is released.

I remember when the costs were decreasing. Except for the last $5 lowering the amounts were $25 or $50 from what I recall. Yes and as you say all will change in price. The only thing is hopefully the already issued have been purchased by those wishing to have them.

That's a good point. I had forgotten that the last dip was only $5 while the other deltas were more substantial. The puck pricing went something like this (could vary a bit depending on purchase date):
All 2010 issues: 279.95
2011 issues: 229.95 (first 2) & 204.95 (last 3)
2012 issues: 204.95 (first 3) & 229.95 (last 2)
2013 issues: 179.95 (first 2) & 154.95 (last 3)
All 2014 issues: 154.95
All 2015 and 2016 (to date) issues: 149.95
If I have some time I'll bang those issues up against spot price at issue time.

I will wait a few days to order mine. Yes, I too, am glad no change in price. Now to keep it for the next one! That's the prize in my eyes for this yr.

With silver having punctured $20/oz and then hitting a ceiling, it's a sellers market right now. No hurry on the HFP puck, they'll be around for awhile, sales won't pick up until silver goes north of $23 and then you might see some activity in the Federal register of a pending price increase. A sellers market augers well for TR bullion, will keep the numbers down, hopefully below 50K.
