It must be popular as the 'P bats' are on backorder with a back-in-stock date of May 18. We haven't had that in a while which is great to see.

I was thinking with the price increases this year that the pucks would not sell as strong compared to other years. Of course who really knows what is going on since we don't see the weekly mintage reports any longer?

Yeah, just what's up with that

Supposedly it was a personnel issue where they had to replace an employee, but it looked like they got through that when the reports came back in January, but that was short lived

Wow - silver is cheap today. Went down into the $12 range and now back into the $13 range. Bullion pucks for under $90.

But would the mint lower their price on the P issues.... Nope.

It's very odd that stocks and bullion is going down. That means that people are pulling money from the markets and putting their faith in fiat currency.

Or paying down debts based on some comments here.

Yep, I'm contemplating canceling my subscription. Have a couple weeks to make the call.

So, silver goes down to $13 - I figure this is a great time to buy some silver eagles. But I guess everybody out there is buying up silver, and therefore most dealers are selling the eagles at $20 and $21.

I guess I'm not buying anything until the demand goes down, and hopefully the prices.

Try some silver bars or rounds that have a much lower markup.

Yup...I hate to say it but the Mint has priced themselves out of the market...makes no sense to sell a silver 5 oz coin at a almost a 200% markup over the metal. Same with the gold coins but not anywhere near 200%

Very poor timing by the Mint on the price incre ASE
