I picked this up for $9.00 at my LCS. Does anyone have any info on this token? What do you think of the grade and price?   Thank you in advance!  |

Dar ... This is a relatively common Hard Times era token, not Civil War as per this thread. If you do an ebay search for "Hard Times" token, you can probably spot a few of these and get the catalog number for your piece. IMHO, it's a VG with a value in the $12-$15 range. If you're hooked, pick up a copy of the new Bowers book on these tokens. Happy collecting! |

The Washington Market piece with the slogan "Live and Let Live" is one of my favorite "copperhead" issues.

Here's my most recent purchase... An R6+ from Columbus, OH OH200I-3a Wagner's Dining Hall struck By Lanphear. It's one of the nicer condition Wagner's I've personally ever seen   |
